What is OWCOL? Well it's my name. Shortened.
I chose to use this instead of my name because I found it more interesting.
I decided to make a blog for one reason:
To have a habit...
I wanted to create a new habit for myself. I don't yet have a particular theme or topic, but I chose will probably post things from time to time.
Some may be short posts, and some may be longer, depending on the topic.
I am a young, conservative, student who lives in Texas.
I love computers and politics, and can't wait to make plenty of grammer mistakes on this blog 🙃.

Narrator: Let's get rid of those, sorry I had a metronome going on in my ear. So today is going to be mostly about, um, school. This is kind of like a recording I'm going to try to attach to the OWCOL blog. I'm just trying this out. I don't know if I'll continue doing this, I don't know if that's really the best option. If I do, most likely I will attach this after I have written the post. This is mostly just a way for me to record my thoughts, journal almost, in a sense, but doing it in a way that's not going to destroy my privacy, at least as much as I can.
Narrator: Another thing about this recording is that it's going to be recorded live. Unless there's some crazy thing, I'm not going to remove it. I'm not going to edit the audio, I'm not going to improve—I'm really not even going to do a whole bunch to it. I might add sound effects if I really feel like it, probably not, because right now that would take too much brain power. This is supposed to be one of the aspects of this project that is self-reflective. So there'll be sound effects, there'll be weird stuff going on in the audio.
Narrator: But this is the longer intro to talk about what I'll be doing. I'll link this in the about page or the about post or whatever it was. And then I'll do another recording today for, I believe, the "college sucks" post. I'm not going to do one for "email sucks" because that one was way too short and people can read that.
Narrator: Anyway, plus I just wanted to test out this new mic I got, so no reason not to. I will take the transcriptions from my recording and upload those as well, but they'll be under like a resources drop-down or something like that. I'm not sure, I haven't decided yet. Okie dokie, welcome to OWCOL.
